I needed a birthday card for a boy and started by looking for some images for All Star shoes on the internet.
I fussy cut them out and placed them on a red paper strip on the inside of my card as a hint for the front.
So I paper pierced the holes for my needle work with the Tim Holtz ruler, made the holes for my shoelaces, weaved white ribbon through the holes, and put two white eyelets beneath the logo with the boys name.

Now this is a card you don't see - ever! I love everything about this and it is perfect for our Boys to Men challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters. Thanks for playing with us and hope to see you in our gallery again soon.
