I used Winsor & Newton watercolours on watercolour paper and my precious Fleurs de Sel from France which always seems, alas, to give me a better result than cheaper salts. Stamped the sentiment, distressed the edges. The poppy was coloured first with Twinkling H2Os, then I used the SN glitter pen and added clear EP. The fern was cut from something that was already a blue green, but after I stuck it down I didn't like it, so I coloured it darker with Mermaid Markers and then added lots of detailing with a white gel pen.

Ah - the things we do for the sake of our craft . . . Expensive salt - recoloring colored paper . . . but in the end it is all worth it!! Beautiful salted summer day - both the green & the yellow are so bright & fresh looking and you got marvelous movement from the salt. I had to go back to read your list of accessories because I was definitely catching the glint of the chunky bits of gold EP. This is just lovely and I'm glad you felt well enough to play today!
