August 21st we are going to experience a total solar eclipse(when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the sun) where I live. It will last from 11:50AM - 2:44PM CDT and many of us are excited to witness it since most likely we won't be around for the next one. We have our solar glasses and are attending a watch party. Now only if it doesn't rain or be heavy cloud cover. : )

Sallie, that is so awesome! Love your card. You'll have to report back after the eclipse.

This is EXCEPTIONAL. You've captured the eclipse to perfection in my book! Love the grayish moon with the sun peaking out around its edges in full eclipse! Your sky sponging is fantastic and love the silhouetted woodsy trees! Fabulous...can't find enough adjectives to get close to how great this is!
