My grandson, Creed-age 9, is visiting for 2 weeks. Last year he made a card for his mom so this year he decided to make one for his dad. He wanted to keep with a summer time theme, hence, the ice cream cone. He went with Tuesday's colors: Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi & Pacific Point. Dessert: Nature- Ice cream comes from cows. For today's sketch also. Each dip was stamped and fussy cut, popping up the finished cone. He added IBBG to the white panel and the enjoy for his sentiment. Thanks for stopping in today! Roberta & Creed~

Wow! I am truly impressed! This card is so nicely made I would have assumed that Creed is much older than 9. I love that Creed used today's colors to their best (and most delicious) advantage. And including "dessert" made sense because it is also "natural" that most people absolutely LOVE ice cream! Creed did a terrific job fussy cutting out the ice cream layers and assembling this wonderful ice cream cone. The IBBG background reminds me of an ice cream shop in the small town I grew up by that had splattered paint on the walls- fun! The "enjoy" die cut is the perfect finishing touch on this positively delicious card that Creed's dad will truly appreciate. Thanks for sharing this delightful card with us today! Hugs! ~Karen.

Creed definitely has your artistic gene, Roberta. This is wonderful and it has a "manly" look using yesterday's colors(no sugar pinks or pastels). He did a great job and thanks for sharing with us his work! Happy days to you and him.....sure you are having a ball!

How sweet and adorable is this. What a terrific job!
Just because it was HANDMADE does not mean it was CHEAP, because why send a store-bought card that cost $4.95 when you can make it yourself for $89 worth of supplies?
