This is the second Clip Board I have made. Alot easier than I expected. My husband helped me with the paper clip part he put an electrical tie to it so I could paint it and let it dry so it wouldn't mess up the paint. And I used water based ink. It will smear. So I put on a light clear acrylic coat then I modge podged it. Hope this makes since.
This is my DD last day of School Thursday. So I wanted to make her something different. She is absolutely amazing.

This is adorable. Where did you get the cute ribbon? And what a good tip to seal it before using the Modge Podge. TFS

I bought the paper at Michaels craft store 12 x 12 sheet. And the ribbon isn't ribbon I cheated it is a sticker that I bought at Hobby Lobby. Thanks so much for all the nice compliments. I hope she likes it.

I absolutely loved this idea so much that I was able to find the exact paper at Michael's.
I did run into a problem when I modge-podged - my paper got bubbles underneath and my cardstock stickers I applied lifted. Anyone have advice? I'm thinking of slipping some modge podge underneath to stick back down. I'm not sure what I'll do with the paper.
Of course I'm making five for my son's preschool teachers and they ALL did this.
Help!
