After seeing Kathy's (muscrat) 6" paper storage box, I knew I needed to make some of these. Although I used the same size as shown in , I decided I wanted mine to be sturdier than cardstock, so I used cereal box chipboard, and simply designed my own with that. I made 5 and then completely filled every one. I think I have too much DP.

They are great, melody! Mine are super sturdy too. I used some heavy card stock a friend gave me. Its probably just as heavy as your cereal box cardboard. I made four with that then ran out so four of mine are made with recollections 110# and they seem pretty strong too.

These are very pretty and absolutely practical! Thanks for the inspiration! I'm moving into a new home with a new craft room so these would be perfect. I like your idea of making them out of cereal box chipboard for the strength. Thanks for sharing!

Melody, so fun! I too am making more. I like the looks of the one I made already, and don't see why I shouldn't have a whole row of them! Yours are beautiful; saved in my Favorites.
