I wanted to say thank you to all the ladies who call SCS stampers their place to craft. I seem to have some long dry spells between uploads (she smiles). Some of you understand why. It's not forever, nothing ever is. But most importantly I wanted to say thank you to all who have commented on my cards this week and let you know how much it means to me to see your happy faces in my gallery.
The card was a practice piece for me too. I CASEd Kristina Werner's beautiful card using the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set. When I saw it and watched her I was in dreamland! I know I've said this before, but it's worth saying again. Like anything else, art is a learning process unless you are just naturally gifted - I am not, nor am I professionally trained. Following the techniques of the artist is the way I learn best. So don't be afraid to CASE the work of your favorite artist/card crafter (just remember to give credit where credit is due). She'll be humbled and grateful you enjoyed her work, and we'll all learn something.
Thank you again ladies. Your comments brightened my days this week. This is for you (she smiles).

This certainly looks professional, Susie. Glad you got some time in creating this week. I'm sure Kristina would love this beautiful creation.

This is beautiful, Susie! Can't believe it is "practice" as it looks very professional. Nice that life is giving you the opportunity to be back on SCS!

This is a BLOCKBUSTER, Suse!!! Such gorgeous watercoloring...I'd say you came away from that video with a wealth of talent and knowledge. This no-line watercoloring looks like a free-hand watercolor from a master! Love the gold-embossed sentiment flag...perfect finishing touch!
