It didn't take me long to find several of the modern art pieces that spoke to my heart . . . I chose this one as my inspiration. I could ponder this type of painting for hours !
I started with a piece of watercolor paper 2 1/2" x 4 1/4". I laid down a thick strip of hot glue and working quickly, pulled parts of it away from the center line with a pick. Let cool (so it would really adhere to my paper) then reheated sprinkled with gold tinsel EP, and again working quickly so as not to lose the texture of the glue - heat set again. I spritzed my entire piece with water and floated re-inkers over the surface. Framed in black and mounted on a lemon card base. This type of art fills me with Joy so I added a sentiment to reflect that.
