DD7ABC23D: The alphabet challenge is on the letter D and we were to use a different fold. I chose to use the Double Diamond Fold for my card. I followed the tutorial here: Double Diamond Fold Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Dani, who started the Alphabet Challenge, is such a blessing and is being blessed with cards for this week's teapot challenge.
I followed the tutorial using some paper that I purchased for scrapbooking for the pretty, soft dp that covers the neutral card base.
My oldest DD helped me select the three shades of pinks for the flowers as well as the three shades of green for the leaves. After I die cut the butterfly, she covered it in Wink of Stella so it sparkles. Then it was a matter of arranging the floral bouquet on the one side and the butterfly and lear on the other. Some of the flowers are popped up with dimensionals. Pearls in the centers of the flowers finishes them off. I was going to put an oval or some other shape in the center but didn't want to cover that lovely paper so stamped the sentiments directly onto the paper.
Birthday wishes and healing thoughts for Dani. Thanks for looking.

Wow Catherine, this card is so unique and so gorgeous! Dani is going to cry when she opens this beauty up. I love this gorgeous bouquet of flowers on the one side of this unique card, and the gorgeous butterfly on the other side. How fun to read that you made this card with your daughter. ~Karen.

Those leafy papers are so elegant and very classy looking, working perfectly with this fold. I always love those flower dies, they make such pretty posies. What a beautiful card for Dani.
