I made this card for the letter T Alphabet Challenge. I do believe this is the first tropical card I have ever made and I am quite pleased with how it turned out considering it started out as an experiment. I first cut out the oval aperture, then stamped the palm trees to fit inside the aperture. Then it was a matter of masking the trees off in order to stamp the water, sand and birds. The Flamingo, hibiscus flowers and leaves are all layered stamping and fussy cut out. The banner is stamped and hand cut too. I really enjoyed making this tropical card and watching the scene unfold as I was making it. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Hey!!! I'm missing my flamingo!! I see you have it here . lol gorgeousness sis. You still got it!! You havnt lost your touch ,creativity or brain for that matter. Beautifully done. And your sure making up for lost time and creating and catching up quickly. I'm still behind by a bunch as well and soon you will past me to the finish line. I have just not had much mojo of late. I have so many ideas and just my mind and body are going in diffrent directions. I'm hoping once Mitch comes home I'll have mojo and also Des partnering in creating.

How I love this tropical scene. Great job with the masking and stamping. I could sit under that palm tree for a long, long time. Very peaceful!
