Dini's challenge was to create a circle, or circles, on the project using paint of any kind. This was perfect for me to finally try stamping with bubble wrap. See the red punched circle? It was stamped with white paint and bubble wrap. I think I need more practice but it was fun to try.
It was also fun to get out a couple of old stamp sets - Circle Circus and Think Happy Thoughts - for this challenge.
I stamped the bubble wrap on red cs and left it to dry. I stamped various circles in the various ink colors directly onto the card base. I also stamped some silver circles on the black cs and the sentiment on white.
Then for the fun of adding the punched circles, popping them up with various heights of dimensionals. I added the Wink of Stella'd horizontal black strip and a smattering of sequins and it was done. It was fun to play with Circle Circus again.
Thanks for looking!

I like the colour scheme you used for this, Catherine, and the way the bubble wrap added such great texture to the circle. Raspberries here are usually sold in punnets with a sort of miniature bubble-wrap lining the bottom, and I always think I would love to try it for stamping...but it's so well stuck to the base that I've never managed to get a piece out intact! Great pairing of Circle Circus with the Think Happy Thoughts sentiment.
Oh how fabulous a card this is as well as inspirational as to how just simple circles and recycling can come together to create such gorgeousness. Mahalo sis for inspiring me to want to pull out some older stamps and not just focus on the new stuff. But not sure I can stop playing yet with my collections of PM. Hehe and your niece just got me a new one that I've wanted from beginning of time and she finally found it and got it!! And it sure costed!!

Love your colors together...you just can't go wrong with black, red, and white! Love all your circles with their different patterns and textures. GREAT card!

I wish I had seen this card before I posted to last week's favorites thread. It would have been on my list for sure. I love both these circle sets and I love the idea of making circles within a circle by using bubble wrap to stamp. Never tried that technique. Thanks for the reminder!
