This card was designed for the F4A385 "Lucky Sevens" Challenge- this challenge was a "real challenge" for me since I do not have any type of playing card stamps, etc.
I decided to search online for free digital images and found this King of Diamonds image in black and white ( see here for the freebie ) and paired it with a retired SU! digi image of Vintage Verses.
I loaded both images into MDS, printed them out onto Whisper White cardstock and colored the King of Diamonds with SU! and Derwent Watercolor Pencils, added bit of color with the SU! Real Red & Crushed Curry Markers and added shimmer to his crown with a clear glitter pen (I "googled" card images for the colors :-)).
The background was embossed with a diamond EF and layers of Basic Black and Real Red finished off the card.
I may post this to my blog later and if so, will link at that time.
I am also linking to the All Occasion Card Challenge for July as well as the USEIT2017 Challenge.
Thanks again for looking- I hope you can play along with us!

I love your Kiing of Diamonds Julie...your coloring is spot on! Great design using a diamond ef for the background and that sentiment is perfect. How fun!

This is very striking! I was wondering where you got that playing card (TFS). Your coloring is wonderfully bold and I love the pairing with the diamond EF and the black and red matting.

Great card for today's challenge! You've colored that playing card image to perfection and the sentiment image is just perfect with this. Great use of the diamonds embossing folder as well!
