I am your hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and I am helping you—and myself—get a jump on Christmas cards! The dessert option this week is "Christmas in July." The colors are Tranquil Tide, Silver, and Pool Party.
My two projects this week are the product of much study and experimenting with my new Scan n Cut 2 electronic cutting machine! I love that thing! I've watched several videos made by an amazing woman in the UK. She showed how she created a cut file for a similar card. Her words were slightly different and the size was different. One of the neat things about the machine is that once you have a cut file, you can make it any size you wish.
So I followed her technique, but made my own cut file, and created the Tranquil Tide panel. I placed a layer of silver foil behind the words, and cut out the silver snowflakes with a die and my Big Shot. I applied the silver Inka Gold with my fingertip. I wanted it translucent, just the suggestion of silver around the edge of the Pool Party card base.

this one turned out great as well-the cut file you created reminds me of a MB die that I have- this machine is fantastic and it looks like you have mastered it
