I love playing with the shaving cream technique, the house smells so good afterwards. I did a bunch of sheets of watercolor paper while I was playing. It's fun to use different mediums, this time I used SU! re-inkers and Lumiere paints. You can also use acrylic paints, even fabric paints and alcohol inks. Such a wide variety of choices.
In using the glitter, it is difficult to get all of it back in the jar, sometimes I don't even bother, but I do take it outside and add a little sparkle to the driveway or walkway. It makes me smile when I see the sparkle at another time.
I want to try the shaving cream with a stencil, I have a couple in mind. I just need more shaving cream!

Wow. This is so pretty. The marbled background on watercolor paper is amazing enough, but with the added glitter it's stunning. And then with the addition of that super cool die cut and the glimmer paper stars... like I already said, wow!

Love, love the effect you achieved with your shaving cream and SU-reinkers...the glitter really adds to the overall look. So patriotic with your wonderful star die-cut! MARVELOUS card!

I love your patriotic shaving cream swirls! Also thanks for the tip about other media to use - I don't have any reinkers except black, so when I did the shaving cream technique before, I used liquid food coloring. That worked like a charm, but had limited color opportunities!
