My "problem" with shaving cream bg's is that once I lift the paper from the tray and see all the lovely swirls, I just can't bear to cover them up in any way, shape or form! So today I let the "background" be the shining star - front - center and sideways!
I squirted a layer of shaving foam on a paper plate, evened it out a bit, randomly added drops of reinker and swirled with a toothpick. Laid my card stock over the top - pressed down just a bit then lifted and cleaned off the excess foam. I cut it on the diagonal and spread - then used the drop off piece to die cut the sentiment. I think these swirls are a celebration all by themselves!

Great card--the swirls are indeed a celebration all by themselves! Love the celebrate cut-out; great way to use up "leftovers"!

I love the way you die cut the sentiment from the same piece of card stock and featured it in the white strip dividing the background. Genius and it looks so pretty!

You are right, the background swirls really are the standout on your card. You give me a great idea to a box of die cut letters - use shaving cream, beats painting them or covering with DP. Very pretty card.
