This is for Wendy’s Free 4 All Challenge to dust off an old background stamp and use it. I made this card for my SIL who loves the outdoors & camping. I watercolored the image, then die-cut with scalloped edge and layered with patterned paper. For the card base, I used VersaMark with an old stamp called Stitched that I’ve rarely used (maybe twice). I hope you can see all the patterned stitches in the photo. Also, I’m linking this to the Inspiration Challenge – Celebrate Patterned Paper. I celebrated with a DSP layer on my card and partied some more by putting patterned paper on the envelope flap. I thought the Tempting Turquoise pattern went great with the Stitched image. It’s very easy to add paper to the envelope flap. Lay the envelope with the flap side up, align the top of the envelope with the edge of the DSP, put glue or adhesive all over the top side of the envelope flap, carefully lift up the flap and press down onto the DSP paper. Then trim around the flap. No pre-cutting the paper beforehand. Fun challenges. Thanks for looking!
