TLC644: we were to stencil over a stencil. This is something I haven't done - perhaps because I don't have many stencils. Due to that same problem, I cut the layered floral cover die and used it as a stencil. I used Distress Oxide worn lipstick and peeled paint on this floral background die cut - not stenciling the entire background. Then I came along parts of that with the small bubble stencil (sorry, I don't know who makes this stencil) and broken china.
I stamped the sentiment with Tempting Turquoise and then sprayed the front with glitter spray which, unfortunately, doesn't show on camera. Added a few sequins where my DD thought they should go and used worn lipstick direct to paper for the card base and the card is done.
This is outside of my comfort zone and it was fun to do but I gave it a difficulty level of 3 just because it was challenging for me. I think I need to get more stencils!
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful. Love that you created your own stencil. I see more stenciling in your future! I like how you added the bubble stencil but left the large flower in the corner mostly untouched making it a lovely focal point. Pretty colors. Great job with the technique! Nice touch with the sequins, too. TFS

Two well-chosen stencils....make a lovely design in themselves with the colors you have chosen. A sentiment and a few sequins....and Voila!....you have a wonderful card.
It's that sentiment that reminds me at a time like now on my journey that it keeps me making lemonade Sis and that I always have you and the other sisters to always know will be there to catch me when I fall!! Mahalo for the reminder and that's exactly what this gorgeously made card does!,

You colored your card base with worn lipstick? Wow, I would never have thought of that! And you made your stencil from a diecut? Genius! This is lovely.
