A big congrats to AJ, the newest Featured Stamper! Her gallery is full of beautifully colored images & fun designs. After much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I liked the image running over onto the circular frame & the flower theme so I kept those, but I used different images, different colors & I used a die cut for the greeting instead of stamping it.
After coloring the image, I smoothed out the blends a little using Prismacolor pencils then I die cut it a couple of times w/ 2 sizes of large ovals. I didn't have a pierced oval that large so I did it the old fashioned way...w/ the SU piercing set. The outer frame is actually popped up just a bit from the rest of the image. Due to the size of the image, there wasn't a lot of room left for a greeting but I had a die cut that fit in pretty well. I double stacked it, black on white to give it a little depth.
Congrats again,AJ ! Thanks so much for looking. Closeups, the inside & Copic colors are on my blog:The Write Stuff

Julie, I am so excited to have been chosen as a Featured Stamper! I absolutely love your take on my sunflower card. You've chosen a perfect image, I love the colors you've used. I love coloring potted flowers, so I was drawn to the offset pot on the frame right away. You've done such a lovely job on this card and I'm so flattered!
