I was inspired by the horizontal silhouette against a gorgeous sky in the photo on this scrapbook page today but went with a more masculine bg.
Sponged a cs panel with DI in an ombre fashion and then applied glass bead gel through a stencil on top of that (learned about glass bead gel from Loll Thompson - thanks, Loll!). When it dries it leaves a fabulous sparkly texture - love how it turned out!
On another thin piece of cs I sponged more of the same colors, and then embossed with sparkly kalidescope embossing powder. Stamped the sentiment, die cut my thorn tree, and assembled all on my card front with a piece of black cs to ground the tree.

Wow! This is truly inspired and so striking. I love the glass bead glitter gel, such a pretty effect. And this card is amazing. It is easy to understand why it is on so many crafters' favorites list. Outstanding!
