Cathy (cathymac) is hosting today's Ways To Use It Challenge, WT641, "That's Sea Worthy". Her challenge is to fill the gallery with anything deemed sea worthy.
This card is an underwater scene featuring products from Hero Arts May Monthly Kit, Underwater Adventure. To create the card, I used three of Tim HoltzÂ’s Distress Oxide Inks to sponge the colors onto a piece of white card stock. Next, I spritzed water onto a stencil from the kit and laid it over my sponging. Then I added the sentiment with VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder, which I heat set.
Next I used the Hero Arts Reef Border and Frame Fancy Die, which is an "add-on" to the kit, to cut the front panel of the card. Then I stamped, colored, and die cut the mermaid and her friends to add to the panel.
Accessories: Hero Arts Reef Border and Frame Fancy Die; Hero Arts Underwater Adventure Monthly Kit including Dies, Stencil, and Sequins; Foam Tape; & White Embossing Powder
