Into the stash drawer to use up scraps today! I found this piece of DSP that just fit my card front and a scrap of black for the die cut butterfly. I drew a simple circle shape onto the sunny yellow, then fussy cut with a scalloped scissors to reflect the shape of the flowers on the DSP. I realized after I'd stamped the sentiment onto the pearlized white that it was a bit too wide for the rectangular element . . .Oh well .. more fussy cutting around some of the letters and then finished to the rectangle. This pieced seemed to need a bit more definition so I edged it with a fine line sharpie. Adhered all my pieces with Elmers Flex glue and finished with the scrap of rainbow ribbon.

Good for you using scraps! Lovely card. I like how you cut around the side of the sentiment. The butterfly is striking. Love the rainbow ribbon. The background paper is so pretty. Great job using what you had. I need to do that more often! TFS
