Today I am playing along with both the F4A382 and the MIX229 challenges as well as joining the Fan Club theme!
Robin asked us to create a male or a mail (matching envie) card. I decided I wanted to use bright yellow today so I went with the envie and used the last of my texture paste and swiped it on an envie.
For the Mix challenge Polly asked us to use a stencil but in a way, we don't usually use it. I chose to use the colored texture paste tutorial and made a sunshine. To be a true "MIX" we need more than one medium. I used texture paste mixed with HS Color Shine Mustard spray and Brushos Lemon. The lemon slices were inked with Memento Dandelion.
I love the lemon slices that come in the Yello! stamp set. I used the whole slice and cut a slit and placed it at the top of the sentiment and then used three wedges at the lower portion of the sentiment.
Thank you so much, Robin and Polly, for the fun inspiration!!!
This card also fits this month's theme, Sunrise, Sunset! Have you checked out this month's gallery? The gallery is full of lovely warm cards created by our fabulous DD team! Not a fan club member? Check out the info HERE so you can be part of the fun!

This is such a bright, happy card, Angie. I l love how you placed the lemon slices. The matching envrlope is sure to make the postman smile. This would be so much fun to send to someone who lives in a snowy climate in the middle of winter.

This has cheery written all over it...those bright sunshiny images are great! I bet your sunrays are super shiny with that paste and spray combo and the lemon slices are such a fun accent. Thanks for playing along and getting out of your stencil rut

So pretty, Angie. Inspiring, fresh, positive, and motivating (I feel motivated to do all these challenges and to use some texture paste today). Fun card. Hugz
