Ahhh, memories...a few years after my husband passed away, a very nice gentleman asked me to go on a picnic with him. I agreed to go. Well, he cooked an unbelievable spread...fried chicken, corn bread, fresh peas, tomatoes, potato salad, and sweet tea. He even baked a cake! He took me to a beautiful place in south Georgia that looked exactly like the picture on this card (except there was a picnic table under a tree.). As we got out of his truck and started to walk toward the bridge, it started pouring rain. We ran to the bridge and waited under it until the rain stopped. Then we spread our lunch on the wet picnic table and ate fried chicken!
