I have to admit, this card took me out of my comfort zone. First I played with the distress oxide inks creating the blended panel. I randomly inked the En Francais stamp with black and then spritzed it with water before stamping so in some areas you have the black and in others the ink was lifted by the water. After drying, I spritzed it with drops of water. Then I stamped and heat embossed the silhouette of Queen Anne's lace and the other silhouette (not sure what it is). I die cut the sentiment and then didn't like the color so inked it with Worn Lipstick ink. I also didn't have any yellow cardstock that I liked for this, so I inked white cs with fossilized amber and then stamped it with a watered En Francais stamp.
Then it was simply a matter of putting it together. Thanks for looking!

Very pretty Catherine! I like the oxide bg and the way you used the stamp and inked part with black....that is a cool idea and created an interesting bg for your wildflowers. It's good to get out of your comfort zone now and then and I think this was a success!

I love your card you did with the distress oxide inks. I got them and have been having such fun in my creative efforts. Your colors have turned out beautifully on this.
