This is for the Alphabet Challenge – Letter “I” - Independence Day. I made 10 of these cards to swap with my card club group. The hostess for this month chose Red/White/Blue – 4th of July as the swap theme. I used “celebrate” for the sentiment so that my card could be used for the 4th of July holiday or for a birthday, retirement, graduation, or any occasion that deserves celebrating! I stamped the large word with two colors by tapping one end in the red ink pad, turning it and tapping the other end in the blue pad. I filled in any gaps in between with markers. It worked well. Fun card to make. I thank you for looking!

This is a wonderful celebratory card Diane! I like how you used celebrate to give the card more flexibility. I have a cousin whose birthday is July 3rd so this is the kind of card I tend to send to him. I like the two colors on the sentiment too. Nicely done!

What a fun celebratory card this is Diane- it just says "happy" to me! I love how you took this wonderful swoosh from the Art of Life stamp set to make your flag with. The two-toned sentiment is brilliant. How fun for the letter I alphabet challenge my friend! ~Karen.
