This is for dh's ex who is having back surgery today. I asked her what her favorite color is, and it's green. Because of severe back pain she hasn't been able to tend her beloved flower gardens for over a year! I am hoping this card brightens her day a bit when she gets it later this week. More so, I hope this surgery takes care of the problems causing her pain.
I outlined the diamonds on Print Pattern after seeing it done by Cindy (Ckarasz) on a RAK I received from her. Just use a darker color marker directly on the rubber after inking the stamp with the lighter color.... give it a good *HUFF* and stamp it! I love the look!
The 'diamond' that the sentiment is stamped on is done by stamping the triangle, from Little Shapes, back to back. I outlined that also, although, it's harder to see.

Joan,
I love everything you do! Once again I was blown away when I saw this card! The backgrounds, colors, flowers are beautiful! But how you came up with the idea to use the Little Shapes stamp to make the diamond I'll never know. It ties everything together perfectly! I'm sure we will see this idea cased in the gallery very soon, many others will think it looks as awesome as I do!
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

I think it's wonderful that you have this kind of relationship with DH's ex. I get along with my DH's ex and it makes it so nice with the kids and all. It's a beautiful card.
