I loved the music note paper from my first inspiration until completion of the StampinÂ’Up! Music notes Christmas card. The concept of this card was fun for me. The music notes are all created by hand, just 1/8″ strips of paper cut with the StampinÂ’ Trimmer. Make the oval parts by hand, any framelit or punch, just cut the end off where it attaches to the strip. Make the tiny curve ( the same you would use as a mouthÂ…lolÂ…) punch or cut an oval and then move the punch or die a bit and cut again. Voila!
All the fancy die cut words in our thin dies collection are so under used, there is so much variety, and they make great focal points too! I keep an organizer to remember what I have 🙂
This card is a standard landscape card base. The next layer is Very Vanilla cut at 5.25″ x 4″, and the music note paper is cut at 3.75″ x 5″. The gold glimmer paper is cut at 1/2″ x 4″ and flagged at the ends.
