This card is for the first three challenges for this week
Technique - Use an old credit card or similar to swipe water based ink onto card stock.
CAS- create a background
Color - use SU Sweet Sugarplum, Wild Wasabi & Daffodil Delight or similar colors. Desert for this challenge was bling.
Like last weeks technique I really had to try this weeks.
I had a little trouble getting enough ink onto the card so in the end used a couple of drops of my re-inkers and a light spray of water from a mini mister and it worked perfectly. I also used a Lil' Chizler (a small plastic card with bevelled edges to lift card layers one you have stuck them) it has a couple of different length edges and perfect for this challenge.
To stay true to the CAS theme I took a single piece of card stock measuring 11 cm x 29.8 cm and folded it in half, I then masked the edges with post It notes and applied the background using the colours for this week.
I stamped the image in Versa Mark Watermark and used the Clear Lemon embossing powder but it didn't show up very well so I repeated the process with SU Crushed Curry embossing powder and off set it by just a very small fraction, I added some sequins for dessert and put some wink of Stella onto the hugs added a piece of insert paper to the inside stamping the image into the corner first ......and that's all folks.
Why not try one of the challenges for this week!
Have a wonderful creative week
Cheers
Marg

Love the card. Especially love the die cut for "Hugs"

I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
