This is my 2nd card for CC637. Barbara is our hostess and she chose sweet sugarplum, wild wasabi, and daffodil delight for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is bling.
For this card, I went an entirely different direction. My next-door neighbor just announced she is expecting their first child in December.
I wanted to make her a congratulations type card. These colors worked great for a baby card especially when you don't know the sex yet.
My background dsp is some older Stampin'-Up from the "porcelain petals" collection.
The image panel is a die from CottageCutz. It's part of the new Baby die release - Baby Koala w/Blanket.
Cut the bear in close to cocoa and choc chip cardstocks. His ears and belly I cut in very vanilla and shaded with close to cocoa. His sweet little blanket is done in daffodil delight.
My sentiment is from the Verve Set "practically perfect". For my bling, I added some heart enamel dots in sweet sugarplum.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Barbara has chosen some beautiful colors. Remember, you can still join us even if you don't have these exact colors.
Use what you have in your stash that's close. Just don't add any additional colors. Remember the challenge is to create a card with the 3 colors that we give you. Plus neutrals of course - white-vanilla-black-gray or brown. Just like I did with my koala bear.

How sweet! I love this adorable koala and his blankie! Wonderful baby card. I must say, I am again in awe of your magic with the Mojo sketch. I looked at it this morning; Nothing! You, on the other hand, have created a really sweet baby card!
