This is my 1st card for CC637. Barbara is our hostess and she chose sweet sugarplum, wild wasabi, and daffodil delight for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is bling.
On this Stampin'-Up only card I did lots of stamping. The stamps I used are from the flower patch set. I always like the corner stamping that Maura does and then adding her sentiment is the middle. So, I thought I would give it a try.
I stamped in the challenge colors in each corner. Then stamped one of the bigger flowers from this set 2x with sweet sugarplum ink.
Die cut with the matching framelit dies. Used stamping dimensionals in between the flowers and slightly offset them for added depth.
I had some sweet sugarplum twine left from the March Paper Pumpkin Kit and used it on my card. The sentiment is stamped in sweet sugarplum ink and I scattered a few enamel dots for the bling to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Barbara has chosen some beautiful colors. Remember, you can still join us even if you don't have these exact colors.
Use what you have in your stash that's close. Just don't add any additional colors. Remember the challenge is to create a card with the 3 colors that we give you. Plus, neutrals of course - white-vanilla-black-gray or brown.

Gorgeous! Love your corner stamping. Wonderful use of the colors. They look so good together. The die-cut flower is awesome. The twine and enamel dots look terrific. Love the sentiment. Thanks for the encouragement to stay true to the color challenge and use only the colors given, plus neutrals as needed. Your card is beautiful. TFS
