This is a super simple card with just one layer adhered to the base. Masking gives the look of layers. The CAS challenge this week is to create colorful backgrounds.
I masked the moon, placed the Unity image in the MISTI, stamped the image, then water colored with an elegant writer pen and Seedless Preserves distress ink. Then I stamped over the top to bring back details. To finish off the card, I masked the image then sponged color on the background. Easy peasy, done!

Beautifully done! I'm still trying to get the hang of the Elegant Writer... (and you just enabled me right into this Unity set that I've been sitting on the fence about - thanks just really a lot!)

Love the colors and the subtlty of your watercolored bg that blend & merge into your focal image - This is a fav for me and gets a wistful sigh too cause as much as I'd love to try this, I don't think I could EVER achieve such artistry
