What a coincidence! Just yesterday I was telling myself I was tired of always having a white background and then the CAS challenge for the week was "backgrounds."
I stenciled on the background with pigment ink on Xpress It Blending Card and after seeing a technique tutorial of making shadow images decided to try it with the computer instead of a stamp which worked great. I then added that to my digi stamp image and printed them out on my stenciled card stock. I then colored it with copic markers and mounted it on a double frame mount of two colors of card stock. Although I have used this image before this gives it a whole new look. (I accidentally put this image on the wrong side of the card so it opens backwards so I put a sentiment inside that says "When the world seems upside down and backwards look in new places for love. Sometimes it is where you least expect it" Solved my problem and turned it into a unique card.)

Adorable image. Love the armful of tulips. Clever idea to go with the opening on the wrong side and use a sentiment that makes it seem like you did it on purpose. Love it! Great card. TFS

Love your "hippy" flower child which makes a statement in and of itself! you don't have to be pencil thin to be beautiful!) Great stenciled bg and save on the wrong way opening.
