This summer sampler is going to a friend to whom I have already sent winter and spring ones for her Christmas presents the previous two years. This one will arrive in time for her July birthday.
12" frame. Bazzill Bling, scored 1" in from each edge.
Then a 9" square of textured SU white scored at 3" and 9" both directions and matted on blue.
Top left square: SNSS Flowers In Bloom (with one flower removed, coloured with Couleur D'Art pencils, background sponged in with Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint distress inks, Stickles on the butterfly.
Top centre square: SU Botanical Builder flowers cut from dictionary page sponged with distress inks, pearl and Stickles in centre. Sky sponged with Tumbled Glass, Kittie Kits Garden Master for foliage stamped with green. The hummingbird is from ODBD, with a matching die - stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Twinkling H2Os.
Top right square: In Full Bloom flower stamped and masked, then Flowering Fields stamped with Versafine Olympia Green and Peeled Paint. Sky sponged with Tumbled Glass, foreground with Mowed Lawn. Yellow pencil and stickles for the Flowering Fields flower. Papillon Potpourri butterfly coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils.
Centre left square: Thoughts and Prayers tree stamped in background with peeled paint. Foreground sponged brown and stamped with sand from Shore Thing. The bird is Birdies die from Serendipity stamps, coloured along the lines of a bluebird with Couleur d'Art pencils and blending solution. The early bird caught the worm.
Centre square: Unfrogettable frog coloured with distress inks, the little bee is from a Penny Black clear set and has Stickles on the wings.
Centre right square: In Full Bloom flowers stamped on the dictionary page sponged with distress ink. Foliage stamped on background and coloured. Some flowers popped up, Stickles in centre, white gel pen detailing.
Bottom right square: Wetlands birds, Shore Thing sun stamped in Mustard Seed and embossed. Clouds, sand and sea stencilled in. Stickles and some clear microbeads for foam at the sea edge.
Bottom centre square: DCWC Once Upon a Time paper was perfect for sand. Flipflops from Top Dog dies, with gold glitter flowers and pink pearl centres. Starfish cast up on shore is from IO, sponged with distress inks.
Bottom right square: StarvingArtistamps pilings stamped on kraft with white pen for the rope. Lorraine, thanks for the perfect brad (Eyelet Outlet) as my seagull die was too big to use! Waves cut with Top Dog Dies water set from shimmer paper, sandpaper for the sand, and the sun is cut from a watercolour swatch card. A few tiny real shells finish it off.

A masterpiece! Love every little square on this beautiful creation, Sabrina. I'm sure it took quite a while but was worth every minute for this fabulous result!
