This is the second of two cards I have made for Roberta's colour challenge for this week.
It turned out nothing like I had expected but still worked for me as a Christmas card.
I suddenly realised this week that I had only made six of the fifty one Christmas cards I need for this year, so wherever possible cards are going to have a Christmas theme.
I swiped a ceramic tile with SU Tangelo Twist and Old Olive (you can just see the Old Olive on the edges of the image) I then stamped the image onto the brayered colour see the tutorial here; Joseph's Coat Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Once heat embossed I went over the whole thing with SU Cherry Cobbler on the brayer.
What happened was unexpected, the cherry cobbler slowly after each brayer pass turned into a rich bronze colour with shimmery green undertones.
I finished the card off with some raffia ribbon and sequins.
Why not join the fun and make a card for this lovely challenge.
