I LOVE the smack down technique.....it makes such a beautiful background. Once I'd finished the card it made me think of Anne of Green Gables and her red hair. I think I was around 10 when I read the book, and I remember her first 'pretty' dress was shades of cream and brown and I was so disappointed, because I thought it should be green or yellow or pink or blue. Little did I know that these neutral shades would wind up being my favourites!

Gorgeous card. Your smackdown background is fabulous - I think I recognize Field Flowers in your background. Your lace, ribbon, and flower trim is so elegant. Just beautiful!
I enjoyed reading about your memory of Anne - I wouldn't have thought that cream and brown would make such a jaw-dropping combination either! Wow! Okay, now that I've picked my jaw off the floor, you have inspired me to give stamping another chance (I have never been good at it!), and try this technique.
