For todays CAS challenge "Memories".
When I was in grade school I remember my Mother telling me about the beautiful Bluebirds she favored. At the time Bluebirds were almost extinct (because of DDT bug poison) and I'd never seen one. Now we have Bluebirds visiting our feeders every day year round. She would have been so pleased to see that they made a comeback.
I die cut the bird from white CS and colored it to resemble the male Bluebird. I put a green worm in his mouth to bring to his babies - the 1st batch has already fledged from our nesting box.
Stamped the clouds and the sentiment. Die cut a lt. blue mat, the branch and assembled all the pieces onto a white base.

That die-cut bluebird is just fabulous, I love how you colored him! I like how you added a little green worm, too - and you've got the perfect sentiment to go with the card!

I love your bluebird card! I see the bluebirds flying around but they are always too late to "rent" one of our two birdhouses! We have a lot of baby woodpeckers for the second year and baby chickadees as they are always first to get their same house every year! Your sentiment is precious.
