Hello, happy Friday! It's time for a new Mix-Ability challenge and I'm hosting an easy FUN MOTIF... I mean MOTIVE idea! Come and try it out - MIX225: A Single MOTIFation!
For my motif-ation I used the honeycomb or hexagon shape I have filling my want to use stack. I grabbed a stencil, an embossing folder and I thought I had just purchased some nesting dies the same shape but I was dreaming so I started up the Cameo and cut a template to use on my monoprints.
I played with the monoprint plate, paints and stencil a bit to get what I wanted for the small motif background, then I traced my cut shape on another piece of painted paper and hand cut the shape out (I've never cut monoprint paper on my cutting machine so that's why I used regular cardstock as a template.) So my challenge motif was the honeycomb shape.
Thanks for stopping by, and do come play along in the challenge if you feel the urge!

What a great challenge idea! I can't work it in with a need-to-make card but I definitely need to make one for this too. Love all your hexagons and the soft white edging.
