The name of this hot off the press stamp set from SU is "Tranquil Tulips" and I think my tulips are anything but TRANQUIL.....with these bold colors....but I love this new set!! Even if most tulips aren't tranquil.... I also had a very hard time using my own dessert.....it's always fun to see what happens when you choose stuff before you make your card.....sometimes you even challenge yourSELF, as I did this time trying to find a place to put a bug. What was I thinking??? Anyway, I made another sample without dessert. Hope you all enjoy these in your face colors!!! Happy Tuesday everyone!!

That's exactly what my thoughts were too, Karen...."What was she thinking?" Adding a bug was a really hard assignment, but I made it work for not only one but for two cards! I hope you are proud of me. Your tulips are gorgeous as are your ribbon and butterfly! Very attractive layout too, Karen~

Karen, the gingham bg is splendid for the tranquil tulips. The colors make them look so real, and the lacy butterfly is just perfect to capture a country feel to your lovely design.

I keep telling myself I'm not going to get any more flower stamps. Then I see this card and think "hmmm, maybe just one more!" I love how you added small tulips at the bottom.

I never think of tulips as being "tranquil". They are some of the bursts of colors we see in March/April where I live....and a welcome sight. Your lovely card captures all that exuberance of color they provide.
