I used distress oxides on watercolor paper to create a patina background layer for my photo. I distressed the edge of the photo then matted in black, wrapped the bg in twine with a brad/staple at the corner.
The orangy bg was designed on my Cricut mat for the placement of all the shaped cuts.
The stamped image is also lightly colored with Oxide inks.
Done for the May Scrap-lift challenge from Princessp1971 gallery. Oh my love by princessp1971 at Splitcoaststampers
I switched the shape direction so it was in alignment with the right corner embellishment. Then added a few extras.

Hit is fun to see hoe you used your oxide inks on here. I like the result, too. I hope I can remember to distress a photo and then put a black panel under it, because I love the way it looks. Some good techniques on here. Great Scraplift of Patti's page. I see you even used a heart shape, like she did, too. It is so fun to see how a person does a Scraplift and what inspires them. Thank you for playing my May Scraplift, Sharon!
