A quick post for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge to create a watercolor wash background. This is one technique I haven't mastered yet, but I will keep trying! I used Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey distress inks. I first smooshed the ink pads on acrylic blocks, then picked up colors with a flat, wet brush. I stamped the sentiment twice with a MISTI using Not Quite Navy ink by SU. The leaves were stamped with WPlus9's Beanstalk and Last Leaf inks. The roses were stamped with Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry inks by SU.
