Here is my card honoring Kandie, our Featured Stamper this week. Congratulations, my friend, enjoy your week! I always enjoy Kandie's cards. She posts in almost every challenge and tries every new technique!
Today is my mom's birthday, so this was especially fun browsing the gallery for a card that my mom would like. I chose this beauty: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=430910
I started off by sponging stripes with Scattered Straw and then splattered some water on it and also faked some splatter with gold and white gel and paint pens. I fussy cut the cup and flowers, shaped them, and popped them up on foam squares. I used a wood tag that I won in the VSN over the winter and stamped the sentiment with Rich Cocoa and I love the look of it. I also added some ric rac on the side, because my mom brings me scraps of ric rac all the time to use on my cards. She has it left over from her rag dolls. She makes the most beautiful ragdolls. I'm sure you all would love to see her handiwork: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LucyKRagdolls?ref=shop_sugg

Charming tea cup w/flowers Jen. Lovely springtime colors and the added rick rack is such a special element to make it all the more personal for your dear Mother's birthday card.
I love her Raggety Ann/Andy dolls. I can see where you get your creative talent!!
