This is my card for the "Tea for Two" challenge. Tea and lace always go together in my mind, so I used my SU tea cup and Stampabilities Lace Corner. I colored the flowers with colored pencils and drew in the steam from the tea. The cup looks sort of black, but it's Eggplant Envy which I love. Teacups just have to be pretty, don't they. Thanks for looking.

Love the teacup! My parents always drank their tea from cups with saucers. I still have the saucer from a pattern with purple violets on it very like your cup. It is used under a plant pot now! :-) The rising steam looks wonderful!

I like pretty teacups and have some lovely China ones from my grandmother on display, but I'm afraid when it comes to drinking, I like a big mug. That lace doily is lovely, and I like the little posy of flowers to match the cup. Thanks for making time to have a cup of tea in the gallery.
