Polly's challenge this week is to use fabric on a card....Finally getting time to make this card. Many years ago as a 4-H leader, taught fabric painting to some members. We did the flour sack dish towels. Only then we didn't have all the neat tools like today. I took a piece of linen and painted the image with acrylic paint using the one stroke method. Added dots with a micron pen and wink of stella on the petals. Added the die cut flourish. To frame it...cut out the oval and added two layers of foam board. Glued to the card front. Enjoyed doing this card, brought back memories. Added the sentiment. TFL

So lovely, Linda! I'm thinking that painting on fabric is probably a little easier than stamping, but I'm sure there's still an adjustment curve to the friction between brush and fabric compared to a brush on smooth paper. Beautifully framed with that intricate flourish.
