I was - ha- trying to create a soft summer sky for an upcoming WT challenge sample, using Brusho powders and the cling wrap technique. Came out WAY too dark, so instead I added the little mushroom border which was on my desk, and a sweet little Purple Onion owl (coloured with Inktense pencils and popped on an action wobble), and an inset moon.
Then I framed it using the Simple Frame tutorial, adding knotted raffia in the frame.
To finish, I had this stamped card base lying around from goodness knows what unfinished challenge, and I thought it suited the owl.

Another gorgeous bg...I need to find some time to make a stash of backgrounds. Yours have really inspired me. The frame looks wonderful with that adorable owl.

Oh, Sabrina, how darling! I love the background, and how wonderful that you were able to use it with this darling owl...a flying about. Beautifully done with the frame too! Hugs! xoxo
