Love this sketch. Very fun! I made this card for my friend, Christine, who is still in the ICU--week 8. She has made some progress in breathing on her own for a few hours a day, but has also had some setbacks--she's lost some parts of her fingers. But she was able to speak for the first time in 7 weeks to tell her mother she loves her. I try to send a bright and cheery card each week to let her know that I am thinking of her and praying for her and her family.
I copied the sketch picture into Word and put the digi on top of it, so I could really visualize how my card would look. So I knew when I printed out the image that the cloud would hang over. I grabbed a Christmas tin that I had hanging around and traced the circle and cut it out. I'm just realizing now that I never erased the pencil--I'll have to go back and do that. I chose some rainbow striped washi tape for strip #1 and added Glossy Accents to the unicorn's eyes and of course some Stickles, because a unicorn card always needs glitter. You know what else it could use? Sequins.

This fun card would brighten anyone's day. . . and I'm sure your friend looks forward to the mini pep talks your cards give her each week. Oh yeah - unicorns & glitter are like Bread & butter - I was just surprised not to see MORE of it LOL.
