I sized the image in Photoshop, and printed it onto a piece of Mixed Media paper. I chose that paper because it holds up well to watercoloring, but has a smooth surface, making it good for coloring people. I colored the image with my Inktense pencils, using a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencils & apply it to my paper. I added Glossy Accents to the lenses on the sunglasses, & coated the stars with Star Dust Stickles. I created the greeting on my computer, printed it onto a 1/2" tall strip of yellow cardstock, and cut it into a banner. I folded the ends under, & adhered it to the card front, using foam tape for the middle & glue on the ends. After adhering everything, I matted the patterned paper background with cream cardstock, and adhered it to a white A2 card base. I will send this card to Send a Smile 4 Kids. Hopefully it will bring a smile to a hospitalized child's face!
