I'm still experimenting with my distress oxide inks. I only ordered 6 of the 12 colors, but I think I'll add the rest. The BG leaves were stamped on crumb cake, sprayed with water and then dried with the heat gun. The panel was then run through the Cuttlebug with the PTI metal woodgrain stencil, although it's hard to tell in the picture, but it gives a nice texture IRL. The bird was cut from a piece of mixed media paper, that I'd layered the oxide inks on and placed on the die cut woodland branch. This is for the saying, "A bird in hand, is better than two in the bush".

That's a good saying for your gorgeous bird. Pretty background, too. I haven't tried the oxide inks but they seem great.
