This is for Shannon's VSN Challenge - to be inspired from a list of the Top 100 Greatest April Fool's Day Hoaxes of all time. The #25 hoax about a rare breed of penguins that fly to the tropical rainforests of South America cracked me up! The footage of the flying penguins did look pretty good. Penguins are special to our family as our DD collected penguin stuff for years. I have studied & given speeches about these sea birds. They don't have wings, but flappers. They don't really fly, but hop along & fall with style into the ocean, where they swim with ease. It's so funny what people will believe, especially around April 1st. So, what's next? "Penguin spotted using surfboard". I heat embossed the penguin image, then painted the ocean with Brushos and flicked water on top. Then I used a Spectrum noir glitter pen for the first time and it was very prolific with the glitter, covering up some of the water technique. I hope this funny surfer dude gives someone a smile, just because. TFL

Oh my, he is making me smile. Wonderful job in coloring your ocean wave, and i like the effect of the glitter pen on it as well. That penguin is so darn cute. Great take on the challenge.

He is such a happy penguin, he made it to warmer climes for the winter and now he is living it up! Such fun, I enjoy this stamp set. Penguins are special in our house too.
