Oh how fun, a slumber party! What could be more fun than dressing up, putting make up on each other and doing each other's hair, applying sparkle lotion alllllllllll over your body, and dancing and just having fun!! The lasting memory of one of my slumber parties is telling scary stories. One of my friends was telling the story of Talking Tina, the creepy doll from the Twilight Zone. And as she is telling the story, my bride doll in my closet fell of the shelf and scared the living you know what out of us. That was the end of scary stories at this slumber party!!!!! And the funniest part is, that all of friends who were at this party, like 50 years ago, still remember that incident!!!!!!
So for my card, I layered up some DP panels from Sweet Taffy DP. I colored my image using the above markers, matted on Daffodil Delight and punching a border on that mat as well. I used pink flock on the feather boa and it turned out pretty cool. I popped that up. Last I popped up my sentiment circle and added some pink rhinestones. I think it would be fun to have an adult slumber party, especially at my age..................But dressing up would be to get comfy in our nightgowns and slippers and drink wine while going down memory lane TFL ladies.

Mary, Love your bright, fun card. The layout and bright pp are a perfect bg for these fun ladies! And the flocking on the boa is a great idea. I've had this image on my list since it came out. Next sale, it's mine!

Extra cookies for you for sharing your story of Talking Tina....yikes! This is such a cute card and perfect to illustrate the talented Teaparty group. I love the colors you used. I do agree though with your comfy pjs and wine idea..that'd be great!

So fun. Love the image and the bright colors you used on it. And there has probably never been a truer sentiment -- no one ever laughs at nothing and gets "in jokes" like true friends.
