I love the watercolor images, and wanted to try using the Color Burst powders, so I stamped the outline only of the Garden Hydrangea stamp set and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I colored the petals with a wash of water, then applied some of the Ultramarine Blue color burst powder that I had mixed with a small amount of water. When the blue dried, I mixed the Alizarin Crimson with a small amount of water, and just touched my paintbrush to the centers of the flowers, allowing the paper to pull the color outward. I used the Pthalo Green, Crimson, and a touch of the Yellow in coloring the leaves.
